He grew up in San Diego, California, without any real parents that were around to help him deal with the many issues of life. His father is always away from home, traveling to sell brands of shoes and clothes. He was raised by a 'Nanny' who he'd seen only in the mornings and afternoons till 4:30pm. In his spare time as a child, he went to the beach an awful lot and took piano lessons.
During his teen years, he was a lifeguard at the beach and took an even more interest in taking care of animals. Especially strays.
His love life completely sucks, and hes been dumped multiple times. As sad as it seems, for his high school class he was voted 'Most likely to be dumped' instead of anything else. You have to admit, the named after a food thing is
"kind of a turn-off" (Allie) . Add that to the fact that he doesn't ever really open up about his private life, hes a pretty boring guy. Due to his epic failure at being a boyfriend, hes stayed single for quite a while now. Now in college, who knows what may happen.
He doesn't have many friends at all, and the ones he does have are people who love to have fun and go to parties. Most of the time, Rice doesn't like to party but does drink a lot of alcohol. If dragged or begged into going along to a college party however, he learns to mingle a little.
His enemies are usually chosen by him, and are either ex-girlfriends, or people that think waayy too highly of themselves. He gets along with a lot of others. <= Wasn't that corny?
Personality-wise, Rice is sort of quiet, unless around others that he knows. He isn't loud when with his 'homies' (which are also girls) but he talks more than he does when just meeting a person. He loves to help people when he can, but also has a strange aura about him since he always tries his best not to sound creepy when making a new friend.

They both have a love for animals, and hes a great listener and she seems pretty hyped and talkative. She'd keep him busy x3

oh that sounds great......the secret crush part seems it could be interesting......like maybe they crush on eachother not letting it show and maybe Alexa get hit on (flirted with) by this guy and rice gets a bit upset, not knowing whats is wrong with rice Alexa doesnt talk to him for a week or so and after a while she decided to talk to him again and try to fix there friendship and thne the next time they hang out rice could get hit on by a girl and alexa gets upset and realizes what the deal was with rice but she is to afriad to say she likes him. we can see what happens after that.

Also! How about a one-night stand that wasn't suppose to happen at all? Since, they're both drunkies and Rice is really... "Aroused" when hes drunk and Alexas pretty wild when she is. Then after that, he'd probably wake up first, get the hell outta there, and probably wont call or come around for quite a while. He would be very embarrassed over the fact that he'd allowed himself to get that drunk and also, he wouldn't be able to recall anything that happened until after a period of time.

I REALLY REALLY love that Idea.....I'm thinking he wont recall after a period of time makes me think that a little uh oh happened during the one night stand....boom nine months later lol.
