 Ivy had her easel set up, her colored pencils out, and a lovely joint hanging from her lips. There had been this couple. Asleep in the park. Curled up in each others arms. And Ivy just couldn't help but draw it. Well, something akin to it. The scenery had morphed from a beautiful sky line to a path of fire and destruction. A thorny bush had begun to engulf the couple and there seemed to be no escape. But they still sat there. Curled in each others arms. Lips touching. A ray of hope in this world of destruction. "Damn my art is awesome when I'm stoned!" Ivy exclaimed, inhaling the joint and continuing to shade the picture. |

"I'm so bored!" Casey said to himself, while pulling out a bright red lollipop matching his jacket and putting it in his mouth. He entered the park, in search of man candy. Or, maybe a new best friend? He was dying to go shopping at the moment, and could use a non-annoying chick to use as a mannequin and model. He pranced through the park, giving nasty looks to girls that looked at him the wrong way. He confidently waved at a couple of guys that looked at him, and smiled while doing so. His clothes were so binding tight, you would think they were 2 times smaller than they were suppose to be on a guy. But in a way, they looked great on him; he always had the specialty of making that happen. He noticed a girl sitting on the ground drawing, and rose an eyebrow before making his way over to her. "Um, excuse me, what are you doing?" He asked her. He wasn't trying to be rude, but the way he looked and asked, it sounded as if she were doing something wrong. Ivy looked up with red rimmed eyes and the joint still clenched between her lips. Tiny clothes. Lollipop. Pretty. Her gaydar physically exploded.
"Uh..." she looked from her finished sketch to the guy a few times before settling on the guy, "Drawing. And being a stoner. If you're an undercover agent I'm joking about that last part." Her voice had a laugh behind it and her voice was light and airy. Dear Lord was she keyed. Not buzzing or stoned. But baked. BAKED LIKE A CAKE!
"You see that couple," she pointed to the couple and then dropped her hand to point at her drawing, "They're in here," she then proceeded to point to her head, "'Cause they're in here."

Ivy grabbed her joint back and hit it hard before flicking it at the couple. Let 'em burn! Laughing at the thought, she slipped her sketch pad back in her bag and jumped to her feet and took a large bow, "Ivy Celeste Loquet, at your service." She then proceeded to grab his hand and kiss the back of it before laughing. "Man! So faded! So intensely faded!" A guy gave her a strange look and she flipped him off before hugging the new boy. "You called me pretty! New favorite person!" she gasped loudly, "Gay best friend!"

"Hahaha, we're totally going to have to get you a coffee or something" Casey said to her, with a smile before hugging her back. "Oh my gosh! You don't think you're pretty?" He asked, while looking around at all of the people staring at them. He flashed some of the boys a smile before pulling Ivy by the hand towards the park's exit. "My name is Casey, but the boys like to call me Case-E for Enamored" He told her while glancing around. "To the mall? Or to get your head straight?"

"OH! Get my head straight at the mall," Ivy replied, looking as if she had just found the answer to life, "And I think I'm cute. Just generally, pretty isn't what comes to mind when people see me. Seems to be scrawny. I'm not scrawny though. I'm just athletic." Ivy laced her fingers with Casey's and grinned at him widely, "YAY! Friend!"

Casey said as he started walking down the sidewalk with a independent look on his face. He looked so happy, like the world was just awesome. When it wasn't. Reaching the mall, he shaded the sun from his eyes and looked around the parking lot. He waved to a few people from his school, and blew kisses to a few sexy ones. Upon entering the mall, he sighed and looked around. "Okay! We're in the food court. Go order a black coffee, and settle down for a bit. Then you should feel a little...normaler" He explained while passing her two dollars and folding his arms. "But...but...oh! Can I get a smoothie?" She asked, glancing around. Ivy wondered if there were any cute girls or guys here. "Smoothie. Shopping. Flirting," ivy stated, kissing Casey on the cheek and running to get a strawberry smoothie. No line! So her smoothie was quick and she was back in no time with a innocent puppy dog look on her face and her hat slightly crooked.
